Title:
Empowering Future Talent – Dual Vocational Training as a Catalyst for Growth
Event:
Sino-German Educational and Industrial Cooperation and Exchange Conference
Taicang, China
Description:
At the invitation of the organizers in Taicang – one of the most prominent hubs for Sino-German cooperation – I delivered a keynote on the structure, philosophy, and international relevance of dual vocational training.
The talk focused on how modern apprenticeship programs must evolve to meet the needs of a rapidly changing world of work. Beyond the transfer of technical skills, today’s training must promote innovation, social competence, and cross-cultural understanding. Drawing on practical experience, I shared a rotational training model that emphasizes real-world learning across departments, continuous feedback, personal responsibility, and international mobility.
The keynote highlighted the importance of early talent development as a strategic pillar of long-term organizational success – with values like empathy, collaboration, and adaptability at its core.
